The ReDesigner - Elizabeth Darche

"Belongings hold memories..... tell the story of a life... express individuality---
this more than anything must be considered when designing Sacred Spaces."

....Elizabeth Darche

Besides formal training in interior decorating, Elizabeth studied the concept and principles of Feng Shui, and over the years has integrated her experience in both these areas to facilitate space planning, room flow and function, fabric selection, window treatments and colour consultation for clients.

Training in the principles of ReDesign enhanced and complimented her existing knowledge on many levels. She especially liked the principle concept of redesign - using the client's existing furnshings - because it agreed with her long-held certainty that client's furniture, art and accessories can be reconfigured into beautiful functional rooms. She has never been comfortable with the traditional interior decorating concept that says the client must purchase new furnishings to create the "new look"

Elizabeth was also attracted to another aspect of the redesign process: it supports and encourages reduced consumption in order to save the earth's precious resources. "Global affluence continues to create a huge drain on our fragile planet." she says, "causing anxiety while we struggle with what to do with 'all our stuff'."

ReDesign address all these concerns in a wonderfully innovative way. Reusing possessions reduces or eliminates the need to purchase unnecessary items. It saves time, money, and resources. Best of all, it reduces stress!
